The Front Load Washer Drain Pump is what drains the waste water out of your washing machine during the cleaning cycle. This part is designed to be used with select Maytag® and Whirlpool® washing machines; check to see if your model number is compatible. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the washer and novice repair experience. You must unplug the washer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also be sure to turn off the hot and cold water supplies to your washer.
